It’s the Month of Surveys – Let Your Voice Be Heard
Vol.6 Issue 7

This month, two important surveys are being launched. One is by Energage and The Oklahoman to find out how the Aeronautical Center stacks up against other employers in Oklahoma. The second survey is the 2020 Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey (or FedView) which is designed to measure employees’ perception of whether (and to what extent) conditions characteristic of a successful organization are present at the Center.

Energage Survey

Energage

Energage is an independent research company. To protect your confidentiality, Energage will not disclose your individual responses to the FAA Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center. Your input will help to share candid insights that can light the way to retention, productivity and growth in our organizations. This survey is specifically for employees in AMC organizations at the Aeronautical Center and is more locally focused. This survey provides the opportunity for the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center to be named as a Top Workplace in Oklahoma and receive recognition in our community. This is something that if we achieve this goal, it will be a great tool for recruiting, for improving employee engagement and will help with the age-old problem of being "The Best Kept Secret."

This survey only took approximately 5 minutes to complete, and results will help us to determine how we rank compared to other employers in Oklahoma; while providing us feedback on what is important to you while being employed at the Aeronautical Center. The survey was launched September 1st and closed September 13th. We are looking forward to seeing the results of the survey which will be announced in December 2020.

2020 Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey

Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey

The FedView Survey is issued by the Office of Personnel Management and helps provide results at lower levels allowing managers to see where improvements within their work units are necessary. The results provide agency leaders insights into areas where improvements have been made, as well as where improvements are needed. This survey is open to full time, part-time, permanent, and non-seasonal employees of Departments both large and small, including independent agencies that accept an invitation to participate in the survey. This is a tool for employees to share their perceptions in many critical areas including work experiences, the agency, and leadership. This year, the ’FedView’ survey will include questions relating to the coronavirus, your well-being and work life. This survey had been administered since 2002, but only became dispensed annually back in 2010. This survey began on September 14th and ends October 23rd.

Please be sure to check your spam or junk email in case you do not find an invitation to these surveys. Please do not forward either survey, as each email has a unique code to prevent multiple responses from a single person.

If you should receive either survey, it is highly recommended that you complete it and provide your open, honest feedback. Your opinions are valued, and by letting your voice be heard, leadership will gain insight into the work culture to learn what is working well or to learn what needs to be improved upon.
